The UW-Stout Symphonic Band will present its Spring Concert “Fusions” on Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the UW-Stout Memorial Student Center Great Hall under the direction of Dr. Aaron M. Durst. The concert will feature selections that fuse different music styles with symphonic music: rock, jazz, Irish and Japanese melodies. Non-musical fusions will also be included such as humor, storytelling and “found” percussion instruments. The Tower Saxophone Quartet and the Cobalt Clarinet Quartet will also perform.
The $5 tickets are available at the UW-Stout Service Center in the Memorial Student Center, (715) 232-1122, online at www.uwstout.universitytickets.com, and at the door.
