UW-Stout's Environmental Sustainability Office, in collaboration with UW-Stout's Ally Initiatives, UW-Stout's Center for Applied Ethics, Sustainable Dunn, and the University Library, host the annual Food for Thought Film and Speaker Series.  This series looks at various issues in sustainability -- transportation, food, energy, climate change, waste, and water -- and showcases films and speakers that focus on these issues to create a dialogue the encourages sustainable community development.

Also, a short film -- Homegrown Revolution-- In the midst of a densely urban setting in downtown Pasadena, radical change is taking root. For over twenty years, the Dervaes family have transformed their home into an urban homestead. They harvest nearly 3 tons of organic food from their 1/10 acre garden while incorporating many back-to-basics practices, as well as solar energy and biodiesel.
