Speakers at American
campuses are increasing being cancelled, disrupted, disinvited, and more. In response, many states have enacted or
considered new laws designed to protect free speech on campus. Azhar Majeed from the Foundation for
Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), a watchdog organization that tracks and
responds to these situations, provides insight and commentary. He is joined by a panel including Eric Kasper,
Director of UW-Eau Claire Center for Constitutional Studies, Virginia Lea,
UW-Stout professor of Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, and Dillon Quest, UW-Stout
Applied Social Science student. CSII
Director Tim Shiell moderates.
