Come raise awareness of the elimination of the R-word and pledge to promote respect! Spread the Word to End the Word Day is an initiative that was originated by Special Olympics and Best Buddies. The day raises peoples' awareness of the derogatory use of the R-word and its negative effects on people with intellectual disabilities, as well as their families and friends.
