Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship Competition
The UW System Advisory Group on the Liberal Arts announces the 9th annual Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship Competition. The competition is open to all undergraduate students in good academic standing, and a $2,000 award is available.
This year's topic: "In his essay 'Only Connect,' William Cronon outlines 10 qualities that distinguish a liberally educated person. Describe a moment from your recent education when you have been most vividly aware of the importance of one of these qualities."
