Join us for our annual celebration and fundraiser for Women and Gender Studies (WGS) at UW-Stout. Come out to enjoy food, student research, and a poetry slam, all while celebrating women and gender studies!

Student Research and Social Hour: 6 – 7 p.m. Recipients of the 2020 Sheri Nero Award will showcase their outstanding WGS work to the community.

Poetry Slam: 7 – 7:30 p.m.. Slam down your best original work or perform someone else's work in a competitive event open to the community! All performers must identify whose work they are performing. This is a family-friendly event, so keep that in mind when selecting your work. Sign up to perform at the event.

The money raised goes to scholarships awarded to students who complete WGS related projects, as well as travel for students to share their work at conferences. It also funds WGS speakers and events.
